Peer to Peer
Have you ever wanted to help someone in their journey of recovery from mental illness?
Or are you seeking someone who understands you and can go on your journey to recovery with you?
Then Peer Pals is just for you!
A Peer Pal is someone who has “been there” and is doing well in their recovery.
A Peer is someone who desires to have a relationship with someone who can share what has
worked for them through visits and phone calls.
If you have attended NAMI’s Peer to Peer course, or similar training, you are qualified to be a Peer Pal.
To have a Peer Pal, you simply need to be have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
